Accountant – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading machine manufacturer based in Telford, who are looking for a Accountant to join their growing team. The successful Accountant will have knowledge of UK accounting standards / regulations and IFRS.

Responsibilities for Accountant:
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare monthly group reports & balance sheets
- VAT preparation & submission
- Responsible for managing and following up on accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Accounting processing of bank movements and invoices
- Preparing payments
- Working with & reporting to the MD
- Payroll preparation
About You:
- Qualifications in an accounting/economic field (CCAB) or equivalent through experience
- Accounting experience: you possess analytical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of UK accounting standards / regulations and IFRS
- Continuously think about the optimization of accounting processes
- Work fluently with MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Communicatively strong and sociable
- Work in a team as well as independently, take initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy
