CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Basildon, who are looking for a CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) to join their growing team. The successful CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) will have experience of programming / Operating PC-DMIS software.

Responsibilities:

  • Program / operation of CMM machines
  • Generate report documentation as required to customer expectations
  • Carry out Gauge R&R / MSA Studies
  • Carried visual inspection against the customer standards when required
  • Make or offer suggestions on changes to improve measurement fixture strategy and design
  • Assist in process improvements to improve part quality
  • Assist where required with measurement strategy
  • Assist in the training of apprentice CMM Operator / programmers
  • Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare

About You:

  • 2 years plus experience programming medium/large CMM machines
  • Extensive knowledge of PC-DMIS
  • Experience in the use of manual measuring equipment
  • Be able to read, interpret drawings and CAD models.
  • GD&T Knowledge is required
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and tolerances
  • Positive and flexible can-do attitude
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
