CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Basildon, who are looking for a CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) to join their growing team. The successful CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) will have experience of programming / Operating PC-DMIS software.
Salary: £43,000 – £47,000

Responsibilities:
- Program / operation of CMM machines
- Generate report documentation as required to customer expectations
- Carry out Gauge R&R / MSA Studies
- Carried visual inspection against the customer standards when required
- Make or offer suggestions on changes to improve measurement fixture strategy and design
- Assist in process improvements to improve part quality
- Assist where required with measurement strategy
- Assist in the training of apprentice CMM Operator / programmers
- Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare
About You:
- 2 years plus experience programming medium/large CMM machines
- Extensive knowledge of PC-DMIS
- Experience in the use of manual measuring equipment
- Be able to read, interpret drawings and CAD models.
- GD&T Knowledge is required
- Comfortable working to deadlines and tolerances
- Positive and flexible can-do attitude
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
