We’re supporting our client, a leading global plastics manufacturer based in Hermosa, Chicago, Illinois who are looking for a CNC Programmer to join their growing team. The successful CNC Programmer will have experience of working with vacuum forming processes and tooling production, as well as strong knowledge of CNC vertical mills.
Salary: $27 – $32 per hour

Job Summary:
As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be responsible for programming and machining ren prototype molds and aluminium production tools in CNC mills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the machining of vacuum forming patterns and tools.
- Modifying or repairing existing tooling as necessary.
- Supporting maintenance by repairing or creating parts for production equipment
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the CNC mills
- Employee may be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
About You:
- Experience with vacuum forming processes and tooling production.
- Strong knowledge and experience with CNC vertical mills. Ideally experience with Haas and/or Fadal equipment.
- Previous experience with PowerMill CAM software preferred.
- Strong experience in machining and metalworking
- Strong CAD/CAM skills
- Strong CNC skills
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment going back and forth between projects.
- Experience in vacuum forming processes
