Job Description

Customer Service (Logistics Analyst)

Responsibilities:

 

  • EDI SAP Management – Integration/analysis of customer EDI
  • SAP Logistics Management – VL06G shipment posting – COGI clearance & analysis
  • Customer Account Management – which includes the following:
  • Customer status report (daily Red Table) – stock vs customer demand shortage management
  • Container management – ensure empty containers available for production
  • Customer contact – daily liaison with customers (potentially out of hours)
  • SAP / Paperwork & label collation
  • Management of customer web-based ordering systems
  • ASN management – ensure ASN set accurate & on time
  • Cross-training to cover all customer accounts – Nissan / BMW / Toyota / Adient / JLR / GA Huyton
  • Aftermarket account management – which includes:
  • Material Planning using SAP – order all aftermarket components
  • Portfolio management – ensure correct lead-time / MOQ is ordered
  • Customer contact – daily liaison with customers (potentially out of hours)
  • Cycle Count – ensure daily / weekly cycle counts are completed & full analysis of counts
  • Special Transport – Management of special transports in line with KPI / budget conditions
  • End of Year stock count – contracted to complete end of year stock count during a weekend in December.

 

About You:

 

  • Knowledge of SAP / MRP systems is essential. However, we would consider an experience with similar software.
  • Logistics and Inventory Control experience is necessary, preferably in automotive/ Tier 1 Automotive
  • Experience in dealing with highly demanding customers and in a high-pressure environment
  • Computer literate on Microsoft Office is essential
