We’re supporting our client, a well-established technology and equipment manufacturer based in Dudley, who are looking for a design engineer to join their team. The successful Design Engineer will have 2D/3D design experience working within sheet metal.
Position Overview: As a Design Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the operations, designing products to customer briefs, liaising with customers, and working directly with the assembly team.
Responsibilities for Design Engineer:
- New Product Design
- Product development
- Producing design drawings
- Developing product data sheets
- Radan 2D and 3D CAD modelling
- Producing BOMs on MRP system
- Production programming
- Customer meetings
- Travel to site when necessary to measure/re-design legacy product.
About You:
- CAD/CAM 2D/3D Experience.
- Sheet metal experience.
- Preferable to have knowledge of Radan.
