Electrical Controls Technician – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global equipment manufacturer based in East West Alexandria, OH who are looking for an Electrical Controls Technician to join their growing team. The successful Electrical Controls Technician will have experience of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical machinery, electronic components, PLC’s, and controls.
Salary: $95,000 – $115,000

Responsibilities:
- The Controls Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant operating systems with minimal downtime; troubleshoot electronic components, PLC’s, and controls.
- Analyze all electrical systems, support and effectively recommend improvements or changes to insure efficiency and dependability.
- Read blueprints, schematics (including electrical), wiring diagrams, technical manuals, etc.
- Test major subsystems or components to localize problem using specialized equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various electrical/electronic systems and components.
About You:
- You will be experienced with Control level work with (and supporting software) PLC (Allen Bradley / Siemens), HMI and Drives as well
