Multi-skilled Engineering Technician – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading developer and provider of conveyor machinery based in Kent, who are looking for an Electromechanical Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Electromechanical Engineer will have experience of Mechanical Assembly, Wiring, soldering and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities for Electromechanical Engineer:

  • Building and wiring of conveyor systems.
  • Occasional visit to client site.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and work well within a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Building, configuring, and testing the product range.
  • Working within the existing engineering team
  • Adhering to the company’s quality standards
  • Mechanical / electrical assembly
  • Carrying out wiring and network set up.
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company and customers.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the company.

Experience:

  • Industrial electro-mechanical experience with suitable skills to transfer
  • Mitsubishi FX knowledge is advantageous.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Good hands-on engineering skills: mechanical assembly, soldering, wiring would be an advantage.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
