EQ Project Manager – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, an award-winning manufacturing business, based in High Wycombe, who are looking for an EQ Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful EQ Project Manager will have experience of electrical engineering, technical knowledge, and experience of working towards ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all Engineering and Quality projects
  • Responsible for developing new and existing products
  • Responsible for business Quality Accreditations and departmental processes
  • Responsible for product testing, product compliance, and product quality
  • Responsible for E&Q team management and development
  • Responsible for liaising and coordination with external suppliers and service providers
  • Responsible for engaging with and managing external consultants

About You:

  • Effective people manager and coaching ability
  • Track record of building and developing successful teams
  • Effective communicator with customers, colleagues and consultants
  • Able to undertake UK and international travel when required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading an Engineering team and 10 years of engineering experience
  • Experience of leading an engineering team through New Product Introduction
  • Working with outsourced manufacturing both UK and overseas
  • Working with external consultants
  • Working for a manufacture of electrical branded products
  • Hands-on experience of product design, testing and implementation
  • Working with ISO accreditations
  • Strong and demonstratable commercial acumen
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexible, versatile, resilient and pragmatic
  • Organised, structured and systematic
  • Analytical and detailed thinker
  • Commutable distance to office as role is office based
  • An engineering degree
  • Hand-on manufacturing or support experience
  • Technical product experience (this is not for someone who has not worked with technical products previously)
