Forecasting and Demand Planning Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Harlow, who are looking for a Forecasting and Demand Planning Manager to join their growing team. The successful Forecasting and Demand Planning Manager will have experience of developing and improving strategic business planning processes.
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000

Responsibilities:
- To manage, develop and improve strategic business planning processes for the company to drive the business forward.
- To manage the development of the group sales budget and long term sales plan.
- To develop business planning processes, improving the accuracy and quality of data capture and to improve the integration of forecast data from all sources.
- Report on Sales, variances against forecasts, possible opportunities and threats for the business.
- To continually review inventory and bring in-line with business KPI’s.
- To collect, analyse and report on relevant external marketing data, statistics and trends which will potentially impact the business.
- Work with internal and external customers to understand demand, build rates and production.
- To communicate market data and dynamics within product core teams.
- To support departmental budgeting processes developing reporting tools to support these processes.
- To reduce inventory and release working capital. Stock turns to be increased and maintained at >5.
- To develop KPI’s to support the forecasting process.
- Any other duties which may reasonably be requires by the post holders Line Manager or Director.
