HR Administrator – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Kidlington, who are looking for a HR Administrator to join their growing team. The successful HR Administrator will have experience of managing the end-to-end on boarding process for all new starters and being the first point of call for new employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end on boarding process for all new starters
  • Being the first point of contact for new employees
  • Creating contracts, offer letters and paperwork for new joiners and update any contract changes
  • Updating systems to track new starters, as well as updating managers
  • Undertaking inductions with new joiners
  • Taking ownership of the probation period process
  • Supporting and advising managers and employees on all HR policy and procedures
  • Supporting with employee relations and sickness administration
  • Updating any employee changes including leave, absence, and terms and conditions of employment on our HRIS, including payroll related.
  • Assist with compliance of all HR documentation
  • Ad hoc project support

About You:

  • Experience of working within a Shared Service environment is highly desirable but not essential
  • An understanding of Employee Relations (ER) is desirable
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to ever-prioritise workloads
  • Experience in implementing and driving process changes
  • Plenty of initiative in order to make a proactive difference from day one
  • Ideally experienced in using Ceridian
  • Prior experience of working in a HR administration role is preferable as is exposure to working with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Need good knowledge of HR Management systems and Microsoft Office packages – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • As well as a clear understanding of HR policies and working knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Extensive experience of providing support and guidance to managers across a range of HR policies and procedures and attention to detail is essential.
