Hydraulic Sales Executive  – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, based in Worcester, who are looking for a Hydraulic Sales Executive to join their growing team. The successful Hydraulic Sales Executive needs to have a background / understanding of Technical Hydraulics sales and developing a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate Sales within a Hydraulic sector; hydraulic hoses, power packs, rams and cylinders
  • Responsible for developing and creating a team from scratch
  • Maintain/update customer & suppliers records.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
  • Managing territory and visiting customers on a regular basis, maximizing customer contact time and effectiveness.
  • Main point of contact for Worcester, working against specific quarterly targets.
  • Developing business strategy
  • Presenting products to customers, identifying and exploring customer requirements and solutions.
  • Identifying new customers and business potential within territory.
  • Reporting sales activities and preparing reports and forecast as required.
  • Assisting with the preparation and attending conference and exhibitions.
  • Be part of the office-based team providing support to the team (tender preparation, quotations, etc.).
  • Handling incoming sales calls from customers.
  • Liaising with product managers and sales support teams on orders.
  • Be able to split responsibilities between sales office and territory.

About You:

  • Knowledge within the Hydraulic/Pneumatic industry
  • Good sales, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Commercial understanding and awareness.
  • Strong customer service.
  • Able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Proven work experience in Sales
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well under pressure, and generally on their own.
  • Good communication skills with customers and suppliers
