IT Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Coventry, who are looking for an IT Manager to join their growing team. The successful IT Manager will have experience of maintaining and improving the companies database, data systems and network.
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000

Shift Pattern: Days 08:00-17:00 – Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Your main tasks will be to monitor and maintain the Company’s computer, data systems and networks. You will also co-ordinate projects to install and configure computer systems and new machinery, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems on all company systems & machinery.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of computer systems.
- Project manage and co-ordinate all new installations of machinery & systems within the factory / offices
- Solving day to day user IT issues as first line support.
- Lead new business critical implementations such as ERP, hardware fault detection software and HR software.
- Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults.
- Maintenance of spreadsheets, word documents, Sage and labelling software.
- Provide IT and systems training and support to new and existing staff.
- Ensure knowledge is up to date of all technical factory systems to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Liaise with external 2nd line IT support to resolve issues as required.
- Help shape data strategy.
- Deliver high quality high impact reporting and dashboards to display business performance data.
- It is the duty of all employees to ensure that a safe working environment and safe working practices are always maintained.
- Adhere to GDPR guidelines when accessing personal, customer and company details and information
About You:
- Previous experience in an management or project management role. Manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
- Evidence of IT and Systems development and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and able to extract and manipulate data to aid business decisions.
- Confident with a variety of IT platforms – e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Sage, VoIP telephone communications.
- Intuitive and can work logically.
- Good organisational, problem solving and co-ordinating skills.
- Good communication skills and able to deal with people at all levels within the business.
Requirements:
- 3 Years+ experience in a specifically IT Manager related role.
