Machine Setter – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a multi-national manufacturing company based in Worcester, who are looking for a Machine Setter to join their growing team. The successful Machine Setter will have a technical outlook and be prepared to drive and develop initiatives for the business.
Salary: £15.75ph

Responsibilities:
- Will have a key responsibility for the safe setting and running of machinery within the metal forming department through a variety of CNC, manual milling, drilling, and welding machines to produce products to the required quality.
- Working within a cross functional team forming various metals such as mild and stainless steels to meet both the customer and business requirements.
- The successful candidate will perform the safe setting and up setting of all relevant machinery to standard to support high volume on-time production on an hourly basis, using all current procedural documentation, monitoring, and setting sheets to comply with current status.
About You:
- Apprenticeship or time served in a mechanical manufacturing environment including setting and running metal forming machinery would be desirable.
- An understanding of Technical drawings and equipment
- Customer focused, committed to quality & continuous improvement, & on time delivery.
- Proactive planning, to ensure efficient production environment.
