Maintenance Engineer – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Ledbury, who is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of maintaining production equipment and working within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of machine PPMs to the agreed schedule and standard.
  • Actively participate in TPM activities.
  • Respond to breakdown repairs, working closely with the Team Leader on shift.
  • Document all work completed each shift.
  • Book out all parts and consumables as used.
  • Undertake training where required.
  • Develop knowledge of the production processes at Ledbury to assist in fault finding.
  • Participate in a risk assessment role across the site.
  • Working on a 12 hour shift rota days/nights (2 days on, 3 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off)

About You:

  • Time served apprentice to NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills are essential
  • PLC and pneumatic knowledge would be advantageous
  • At least 3 year’s experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • Computer literate.
  • A Strong team player.
