We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Hereford, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of planned and reactive maintenance within the manufacturing / production environment.
Position Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of our equipment and facilities. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and optimising our machinery, contributing to efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:
Double days shift pattern – Monday to Friday
- Building and wiring of conveyor systems.
- Occasional visit to client site.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and work well within a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Building, configuring, and testing the product range.
- Working within the existing engineering team
- Adhering to the company’s quality standards
- Mechanical / electrical assembly
- Carrying out wiring and network set up.
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company and customers.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the company.
About You:
- Industrial electro-mechanical experience with suitable skills to transfer
- Mitsubishi FX knowledge is advantageous.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good hands-on engineering skills: mechanical assembly, soldering, wiring would be an advantage.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
