Manufacturing Engineer – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading Cable Management Manufacturer based in Suffolk, who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have experience in a Manufacturing Environment, product Management and quality compliance.
Salary: £40,000

Responsibilities:
- Providing Technical support for the day to day running of the Manufacturing facility
- Ensure that, SOPs, process routings and documentation are created, checked and updated
- Support NPI, NPD
- Lead and support the delivery and of cell design, tooling, and capex projects
- Delivering technical engineering solutions to tight deadlines
- Ensuring all Engineering activities are in line with Quality compliance
- Define BoMs for cabinet assemblies
- Train Operators and Technicians to SOPs for cabinet assembly
- Supporting and developing the Sales, Product Management and Applications Engineering team
About You:
- A degree, HND/HNC in a relevant engineering field (desirable)
- A strong hands on background within manufacturing/production/process engineering roles
- Knowledge in electrical engineering, optical fibre, mechanical engineering, fitting and assembly processes
- Successful design and improvement of SOPs- Ability to accurately follow written instructions and drawings
- Sense of urgency in completing tasking to required targets in terms of output quality and time
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team
