Job Description

Mechanical Engineer 

Responsibilities:

  • For the first initial 6 months, you will be training overseas (fortnightly visits to the UK on offer)
  • You will mechanically start up our assembly systems and production machines including automation systems
  • To geometrically align our various systems and adjust and check them with precise measuring equipment
  • You will continuously carry out settings and functionality checks of the actors and sensors of machines and finish them off with a functionality test
  • You will analyse and optimize the processes at our machine, recognize technical issues/ faults and develop solutions
  • You will provide customer training concerning operation and maintenance at the customer sites when required
  • You will apply your expertise in contribution to the development of processes and structures
  • You will be the direct point of contact for customers on site in coordination with the project management and oversee technically leading teams.
  • Guide and instruct junior technicians in their learning

About You:

  • You must have a mechanical qualification in an engineering discipline
  • You must be able to work as part of a team, collaborating for problem solving
  • You must be prepared to spend 60 to 75% of your working time at the customer sites with your colleagues to successfully complete our projects (post-training).
