Job Title: Mould Process Technician
Salary: £36,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 Hours Per Week
We’re supporting our client, a leading injection moulding company based in Brierley, who are looking for a Mould Process Technician to join their growing team. The successful Mould Process Technician will have been IMT3 qualified and have experience as a senior technician.
- Understanding of Mould Flow Results would be an advantage, not a necessity.
- Planning of Tool Changes in the Mould Shop and undertaking production tool changes.
- Accurate and disciplined QA Documentation completion in line with production procedures of the QMS.
- Lead and train teams of operatives and temporary workers
- Work on new tooling projects for process optimisation and an understanding of Capability Studies and results analysis.
- Basic measurement skills, Vernier, Heigh Guage etc
About You:
- Flexibility is key to the position
- Extended periods of 2PM- 10PM to be expected
- In busier times the ability to work 10PM-6AM
- In quieter times the ability to work 8AM-4PM
- IMT3 Qualified and experience of minimum 2 years as a senior technician.
- Computer literate, good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Disciplined and motivated.
- Able to problem solve and work off own initiative.
- Good understanding off Tool Design and part gating, Hot runner, Valve Gating, sequenced Valve Gating.
