Job Description

Moulding Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing production and process tool changes.
  • Ensuring availability of material tooling and ancillary equipment
  • Working to priority order issued from production control
  • Ensuring that all process changes are carried out with maximum efficiency
  • Patrol of moulding machines, ensuring production and quality are maintained
  • Carrying out fault rectification
  • Maintaining company objectives on quality, delivery and environmental policies
  • Approve all production and process changes before submission for first off
  • Ensure that all work and raw materials from previous production are moved away
  • Develop and sample new and existing production and documentation and arrange and chair all sample meetings
  • Ensure that all maintenance and safety checks related to producing tooling machines and ancillary equipment are carried out
  • Oversee and implement the cleanliness and tidiness of the production area
  • Ensure all legal requirements are met concerning health and safety at work
  • Must be flexible when demands need.
  • Adhere to company quality awareness.
  • Meeting Health and Safety standards supporting others to do the same.
  • Assist other areas of the business when required to carry out the same or similar tasks.
  • Any other reasonable duties required
