NDT Technician – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading medical device manufacturer based in Warsaw, Indiana who are looking for an NDT Technician to join their growing team. The successful NDT Technician will have experience of working within a similar medical device manufacturing environment.
Salary: $21.25 per hour

Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete inspection forms, logs, records and check sheets in any format
- Engage with engineering organization during the development phase of programs to ensure a clean & timely transition to the field.
- Train and mentor level I technicians in current methods and new technology
- Provide support to cross functional teams including Sales & Product Management
- Prepares material to properly examine materials by cleaning, identifying, setup
- Under limited supervision, performs non-destructive test on precision parts
- Performing tasks using the methods, process parts, interpret, evaluate and document test results in accordance with NDT procedures
- Completes computer and paperwork transactions required to forward product to complete the manufacturing process
- Will adhere to all quality and safety standards and demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Set up and operate non-destructive testing equipment to locate and measure internal and external defects in product

Experience for Level II NDT Technician:
- High School Degree
- Certified in Level II in Liquid Penetrant Testing and Radiography
- Experience with ISO 13485 requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English
- Must be able to articulate and understand verbal and written instructions
- Qualified to set up, initiate techniques, and perform testing in accordance with applicable specifications
- Able to interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and prepare written reports of test results
- On job training and supervision of Level I personnel
