Process Engineer – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global manufacturer based in Redditch, who are looking for a Process Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Process Engineer will have experience within the Automotive sector.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Responsibilities:
- Support the continuous improvement of existing assembly lines using lean methodologies and process engineering practices.
- You will work on capital expenditure plans and projects, and insuring the plant meets quality system requirements.
- Additional aspects of this role will include supporting your maintenance team as required on any major breakdowns and attend occasional call out/ weekend work as necessary. This will include supervising a variety of contractors.
About You:
- You will have experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry with strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing methodologies, 5’s and Poke Yoke systems.
- You will also possess knowledge of TS16949, ISO 9000, ISO14001.
- You will be passionate about engineering, with a thorough understanding of lean philosophies and techniques coupled with the experience of best practice implementation of these.
