Product Compliance Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating compliance databases for TCSA/REACH/ROHS/CAL PROP 65/ CHINA ROHS as required.
- Producing material declarations and maintain Silicon Expert BoM’s
- Updating Silicon Expert for all new parts and alternate part changes made by the R&D team.
- Completing annual supplier surveys for CSR/Conflict Minerals/Cobalt/Environment etc.
- Maintaining and improving the company’s conflict minerals reporting (CFSI) covering 3TG and Cobalt.
- Coordinating roll-out and implementation of product/process changes required as result of regulatory and legislative changes.
- Completing and returning Customer CSR surveys and material declaration requests.
- If required, compile and submit UK/EU REACH Technical dossiers and ensure that the company is appropriately registered for any SVHC’s used in our products above the relevant thresholds.
About You:
- Appropriate technical degree level qualification in a science or engineering subject.
- Thorough understanding of REACH/RoHS and TCSA regulations and their impact on commercial IT products.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail and ability to understand specifications and technical drawings.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely across functions and levels.
- Able to work independently and prioritise own workload.
- Evidence of problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, tenacious, resilient, and determined.
