Shift Pattern: Days, Monday to Thursday (No Fridays)
We’re supporting our client – who is a leader in the design and manufacture of special-purpose devices and equipment for different sectors – in the search for a Production Supervisor.
Position Overview: As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the GFD (Gas Filled Detectors) department and leading a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards; meeting production targets and optimising processes to maximise efficiency.
About you:
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and to network with stakeholders at all levels.
- Well-grounded experience gained in a technical manufacturing environment.
- Track record of achieving production targets and quality objectives.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Best Practice
- Good manual dexterity
- Light engineering assembly skills
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to problem solve on-the-go
- Ability to work to agreed time scales
- Ability to make decisions proactively
