Project Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a family-owned, global machine tool manufacturer, their UK site is based in Staffordshire, and they are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Project Manager will have previous experience of managing projects within the machine tooling, automotive or automation sector.

Responsibilities:
- You will take over operative management and processing of customer requests considering timelines, costs and contract conformities at the company’s service location
- You will be the link between project-related contact persons at the customer site, suppliers and teams responsible for the respective project at the company
- You will coordinate daily communication between the responsible leaders of the teams on site
- Establishment of change, claim and supplier management for field service in close collaboration with the Project Management is a matter of course for you.
- You will recognize risks in the projects and develop solution strategies in the project team.
- You will make decisions for demanding, technical and commercial questions.
- Collaboration and support for ensuring customer satisfaction
- You will support the Change Management.
- You will independently generate small follow-up quotations or are responsible for creation of quotations within the team for larger scopes.
- You will recognize claim possibilities and initiate corresponding quotations.
About You:
- You will have completed a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, commercial engineering or have completed vocational training as a technician
- You will have several years of specialist experience in your recent specialist area
- You will have work experience in the areas Project Management and Project Coordination
- You will have an affinity for sales tasks and are interested in commercial activities
- You are experienced in dealing with domestic and customers overseas
- You will stand for independent and thorough working style and problem solve
- You will be willing to travel internationally when required.
