Project Quality Engineer – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a multi-national specialist automotive supplier based in Birmingham, who are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Project Quality Engineer will have experience of understanding ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements and able to communicate at all levels, with internal and external customers.
Salary: £40,000

Responsibilities:
- Participate in new customers project meetings.
- Creating and updating the meetings’ minutes
- Liaise with internal teams as well as customers with regards to action updates
- Work closely with internal teams and provide effective communication upstream and downstream.
- Promote continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
- Create valid input to internal PDCA cycle and continuously improve company BMS.
- Conduct internal audits as part of the QA Team and support department as and when required.
About You:
- Able to use and drive actions from various project stages.
- Able to lead and develop others.
- Able to adapt to change and drive any changes where required.
- Understanding and adhering to Health & Safety requirements
- Understanding ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements
- Internal Auditor to ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
- Effective time management
- Able to communicate at all levels, with internal and external customers.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Understand the business operations activities, their correlation and output/input consequences.
- Qualification in Quality related discipline
- Understanding and being exposed to Project Management, Customer Liaison, ISO 9001:2015
- Using Excel for gathering, analysing, and presenting data. Familiar with the rest of MS Office tools
- Full Clean Driving Licence
