QA Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Hebron, Ohio who are looking for a QA Manager to join their growing team. The successful QA Manager will have experience of working within Automotive Manufacturing.
Salary: $90,000 + Bonus based on company performance

Responsibilities:
- Instruction— Support all company policies and procedures; as well as follow the instructions provided by direct leadership members (including other duties as assigned).
- Work Area— Maintain a neat and orderly working environment to ensure safety of each member and efficiency of production.
- Operations— Attain a thorough working knowledge of the operation(s) (including procedures, operations sheets, methods) and internal and external quality system standards and requirements including customer requirements.
- Management— Manage the employees of the Quality Assurance Function including supporting the functions of lead auditing, calibration, document control and LM Quality personnel needs.
- Troubleshooting— Oversee the corrective and preventive action program.
- Reporting and Records— Report all problems to supervisor; pass pertinent information (including machine status) on to the next shift (tag-team); where required fill out and maintain Defect Occurrence Reports, equipment status records, production status records, quality records and minor problems records; maintain other records as necessary.
- Training— When assigned by the supervisor, give instructions or training to other members.
About You:
Qualifications:
Incumbents must have the aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 3-month orientation period; ability to develop or improve quality systems, actively participate in APQP activities, maintain certifications to quality requirements such as IATF, act as lead internal quality auditor, produce scrap analysis reports, initiate internal or supplier corrective action requests, make disposition of nonconforming product.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Quality Engineer training.
Experience:
3 to 5 years minimum experience in Quality Assurance. 3 to 5 years minimum of management experience.
