QHSE Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading medical company based in Blaenau Gwent, who are looking for a QHSE Manager to join their growing team. The successful QHSE Manager will have experience of achieving ISO 14001 & 45001 certification.

Responsibilities:
- When compliance problems arise, conducts investigations to discover the roots of the issue
- Demonstrates an approachable, professional demeanour
- Communicates confidently with employees and addresses any concerns they have about compliance matters
- Achieve Certification to ISO 14001 & 45001
- Reviewing, improving and approving health and safety plans and performance
- Periodically conducts audits and reviews to ensure execution of compliance standards
- Stays informed about environmental standards and make sure Frontier operates within those standards
- Fills out and files reports with various agencies
- Assess and analyse the risk(s) associated with the business
- Engage with employees in periodic training to update them on their roles in the maintenance of minimum standards of safety
- Retain Certification to ISO 9001 & 13485
- Ensure testing, Inspection and reporting processes and procedures are developed, implemented and adhered to
- Carry out inspection and potential defects as a result of customer return
- Develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans
- Collate, analyse and present quality data as required
About You:
- NEBOSH/NCRQ Qualified
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
- Have auditing experience
- Strong knowledge of environmental and health and safety regulatory and legal frameworks
- Literate in Information Technology, as well as Microsoft Office package
- Detail-Oriented
- High level of personal integrity
