Quality Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a forging company based in Fremont, Ohio who are looking for a Quality Manager to join their growing team. The successful Quality Manager will have experience of working with IATF Standards and overseeing internal auditing processes.
Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
Benefits: Quarterly Bonus + ESOP Plan

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company’s quality management system in alignment with IATF standards.
- Oversee internal auditing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
- Facilitate the compliance of ISO standards across all departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced product quality and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality reviews, gather data, and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns, manage non-conformance issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Establish and conduct training programs to enhance the understanding of quality management principles and practices within the organization.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to ensure a high level of expertise and dedication to quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements to proactively implement relevant changes in the quality management system.
About You:
- Previous experience in a Quality Management role, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Familiarity with IATF standards and experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and experience in ISO compliance.
- Experience with PLEX or other related ERP systems is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective leadership and communication abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
