Quality Technician – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global plastics Manufacturer based in Dromcolliher, County Limerick, who are looking for a Quality Technician to join their growing team. The successful Quality Technician will have experience of Quality Inspections, Auditing and ISO Standards.
Salary: €34,000

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out and validating quality inspections to ensure our products meet customer requirements before being dispatched.
- Assist with quality control functions including incoming inspections, process controls/audits.
- Accurately storing finished goods, samples and completing quality records.
- Support the day to day running of the Quality Management System.
- Conduct or assist in internal audits as per the schedule.
- Working cross functionally with all departments to drive continuous improvement across the plant.
- Clear and precise reporting and report summaries given to relevant Departments.
- Responsible for the implementations of ISO and BRC Standards.
- Monitor the 6S Standard on the production floor.
- Dealing with customer complaints, ensuring that all relevant documents and traceability are completed.
- Training other personnel in quality related issues in conjunction with the HR Department.
- Carryout inspections, process controls/audits.
- Ensuring compliance with national and international standards
- Maintaining Quality Records
- Monitor 6S Standard
About You:
- Certificate in Quality Assurance or equivalent with 3-5 years’ experience
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: excel, power point, word etc
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 would be an advantage
- Minitab experience preferable.
- AutoCAD Experience preferable.
- Calibration experience preferable.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are key attributes for this role
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Attention to detail in completing tasks in a proficient and timely manner.
- Escalate potential issues to management quickly.
- Multi-tasking
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, high energy, positive attitude with initiative for timely completion of goals
