Rolling Technician / Setter – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Worcester, who are looking for a Rolling Technician / Setter to join their growing team. The successful Rolling Technician / Setter will have experience of thread rolling.
Salary: £33,000

Responsibilities:
- Will have a key emphasis is to setup and operate a variety of thread rolling machines to produce products to the required quality. This will involve working within a cross functional team forming various metals such as mild and stainless Steels to meet both the customer and business requirements.
- Performs the safe setting & up setting of all relevant cold forming plant, to a standard to support high volume on time production on an hourly basis, using all current procedural documentation, monitoring and updating setting sheets to comply with current status.
- Responsible for the monitoring of the maintenance required on all thread rolling & auxiliary equipment delegated to your ownership, using fluid maintenance standard ops, service sheets, m/c maintenance boards, and updating m/c history sheets.
About You:
- Apprenticeship or time served (3-5 years) served in a Thread Rolling manufacturing environment including setting and running the machinery would be desirable
- NVQ, BTEC, HNC qualified in an Engineering discipline would be desirable.
- Customer focused, committed to quality & continuous improvement, & on time delivery.
- Proactive planning, to ensure efficient production environment
