Setter Technician – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading Tooling and Design manufacturer based in Portsmouth, who are looking for a Setter Technician to join their growing team. The successful Setter Technician will have experience of Injection Moulding machines, tool trials and troubleshooting.
Salary: £30,000

Shift Pattern: Double Days or Nightshift available
Responsibilities for Setter Technician:
- Maintain all moulding machines for maximum efficiency
- Input and set machine with tool
- Tool trails to ensure machine set for maximum output
- Ensure machine output in line with quality levels
- Ensure operators are aware of safety issues with each machines
- Carrying out health and safety checks prior to production handover
- Responsible for improving skills of trainee setters
- General maintenance of plant and machinery around the site
About You:
- To shut down a machine in the event of a health and safety or quality issue
- To update setting sheets & re-write NC data as required in line with process changed required
