Tooling Coordinator – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer based in Kidlington, Oxford who are looking for a Tooling Coordinator to join their growing team. The successful Tooling Co-Ordinator / Toolmaker will oversee the day to day activities within an Injection Moulding Tool Repair workshop.
Salary: £39,000 – £44,000

Responsibilities for Tooling Coordinator:
- Review workload on a daily basis and ensure jobs are completed on time and to the correct standards.
- Liaise with external Toolmakers
- Responsible for trouble-shooting tooling issues.
- Support new tooling projects coming into the business
- Support CI initiatives & 5S programs to drive change and tooling development.
- Utilise Toolmaking skills.
- Co-ordinate team and workload and adapt to the situation.
About You:
- Experience of working within a similar role
- A time served engineering apprenticeship or relevant experience
- The skills and experience to operate standard Toolroom equipment efficiently and safely
- CNC Turning, milling and EDM experience an advantage but not essential as training will be given
- A “team player” with the ability to work productively and easily with others
- Excellent communicator both at shop floor and management level.
- Flexible and approachable.
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Self-motivated and able to work alone
- High attention to detail
- Builds excellent relationships at all levels
- Computer literate – Excel/Word/Office
