Warehouse Supervisor – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client who specialises in global product manufacturing – based in Dromcollogher, Limerick. They are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their rapidly growing team. The successful Warehouse Supervisor will support the Warehouse Manager in all the duties listed below.
Salary: €40,000

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 17:00PM
Responsibilities for Warehouse Supervisor:
- Day to day supervision of the Warehouse and assist warehouse operatives with daily duties.
- You will provide support to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators
- Ensuring picking, packing & loading of all orders are completed to the company’s standard.
- Perform picking/packing duties as required.
- Perform goods inwards & outwards tasks which will require loading and unloading the racking system with product pallets.
- You will ensure the department follows Health and Safety compliance.
- You will ensure the department follows Quality, Technical & Regulatory compliance.
- You will assist with the co-ordination & organisation of transport as required.
- Effective management of warehousing operations, stock integrity, staffing levels, training, performance management etc.
- Drive Quality policies and ensure compliance. Drive staff compliance with operating procedures and SOP updates within area. Ensure training and development opportunities are identified and completed.
- You will ensure all warehouse damages are recorded and processed inline with company policy.
- To ensure all confirmation of orders and documentation are completed in the correct manner.
- Accountability for all stock in warehouse – replenish into locations and correct rotation.
- Support key tasks, projects, processes, procedures, and other relevant responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Warehouse Manager.
- Actively participate in Operational Excellence programs on site, including 6S programs, risk assessments, audits, and inspections etc.
- Consult with multiple stakeholders of the organisation including suppliers, transport companies, internal and external personnel etc.
About You:
- Experience working in a Warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Computer literate – knowledge of SAP Application an advantage.
- Strong Leadership and Organisational skills.
- Analytically and numerically minded with good process development and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in the organisation.
- Ability to communicate findings and make recommendation to the wider organisation.
- Clean drivers’ licence
- Relevant mechanical lifting equipment licence desirable.
- Have a keen interest in Health and Safety, Welfare
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent typing skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
- Escalate potential issues to management quickly.
- Critical thinking and critical thinking skills.
- Observation skills (diligence)
- Sense of responsibility
- Understanding the monetary impact of all inventory movements.
