We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based High Point, North Carolina who are looking for an Automation / Systems Technician to join their growing team. The below is a wish list of skills but if you have the majority of the skills then the other parts will be trained.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot automated production equipment
- Set up and maintain Straight Shooter Feeders for reliable material handling
- Configure and troubleshoot Keyence sensors (photoelectric, proximity, vision, etc.)
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Inkjet Printers and CO₂ Laser marking systems
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot Beckhoff I/O systems
- Perform low-voltage wiring, panel wiring, and device integration
- Configure and support basic vision systems
- Troubleshoot PC-based control systems and automation software
- Work with SQL databases for data collection, reporting, or system integration
- Support industrial networking (Ethernet, device communication, basic troubleshooting)
- Develop, modify, or support applications using C# and VB (VB98)
- Diagnose system faults and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams
- Maintain documentation, wiring diagrams, and system changes
- Follow safety, quality, and operational standards
