Shift Pattern: 2nd Shift – 4pm to Midnight
We’re supporting our client, a leading paper manufacturer based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey who are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Mechanic will have knowledge in a paper converting facility or similar industry setting, as well as a minimum of three years’ experience.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Installations and overhauls to equipment, machinery and facilities, including rewinders, sheeters and trimmers.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, basic electrical circuits, motors, gears, compressors, pumps, clutches and brakes.
- Perform other tasks such as light machining, preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubricating parts as well as welding and fabricating parts.
About You:
- Ability to follow written instructions from manuals, schematics, specifications and manufacturer’s directions required.
- Knowledge in a paper converting facility or similar industry setting preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
