We’re supporting our client, a leading material manufacturer based in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will have he ability to understand electrical schematics.
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment. This employee will need to use troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues with operations equipment. Good organizational skills are needed to document repairs and to maintain inventory. This role has the opportunity for advancement based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment used in everyday operations including slitters, sewing machines, internally developed machinery, presses, forklifts, etc.
- Completes total productive maintenance (TPMS) for key equipment.
- Complete inspections on the plant to ensure safe operations.
- Ordering of tooling and consumables needed in maintenance.
- Contacting third party contractors for out-of-scope work.
- Complete open action items in a timely fashion.
- Work with management to communicate issues and completion of work.
About You:
- High School or GED required. Technical School preferred.
- 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing facility environment preferred
- Ability to understand electrical schematics
- Candidate should have communication skills, willingness to learn, problem solving skills, and like to work hands-on, good attitude, good attendance, hard working
