Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
We’re partnering with a premier metal manufacturer in Novi, Michigan, seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support their growing operation. If you have hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment, this role offers long-term stability and career progression.
Role Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform installation, repair, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and testing on all in-house equipment and utility systems. This is a key role ensuring smooth production and safe facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain all in-house equipment and utility systems
- Perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance
- Manage installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across the facility
- Diagnose technical issues and determine effective repair solutions
- Calibrate and repair pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly checklists for building equipment
- Keep accurate records of scheduled maintenance procedures
- Ensure a safe working environment in line with OSHA/MIOSHA standards
- Follow work schedules set by management
- Work overtime as required based on workload
- Perform additional duties as assigned
About You:
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or military technical experience preferred
- 2–4 years’ experience in building/mechanical equipment maintenance
- 1+ year experience with pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic system repair
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in 3 years; no major violations in 7 years)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Highly organized with excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with team members at all levels
- Italian language skills a plus, but not required
