We’re partnering with a leading plastics manufacturer in Lawrence, Massachusetts, seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their growing team. If you have strong quality leadership experience in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.
 
Role Overview:

As the Quality Manager, you’ll lead quality initiatives, strengthen systems, and drive measurable improvements across operations. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑growing, innovation‑driven environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Management System – Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Oversee internal, customer & third‑party audits – Drive effective CAPA and timely issue resolution.
  • Champion continuous improvement – Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and root‑cause analysis to reduce defects, variation, and waste.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally – Support product development, resolve quality issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier quality – Oversee supplier audits, approvals, FAI, PPAP, and ongoing performance.
  • Develop and mentor the quality team – Build a culture of accountability and quality ownership.
  • Manage documentation & reporting – Ensure accurate records, reporting, and training delivery.
  • Reduce cost of poor quality – Lead initiatives that improve performance and reduce COPQ.

About You:

  • Quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of quality experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Strong QMS knowledge with proven implementation and improvement experience.
  • ISO 9001 expertise and familiarity with related standards.
  • Audit & CAPA experience with hands‑on problem‑solving capability.
  • Lean / Six Sigma skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and with suppliers/auditors.
  • Collaborative and proactive leadership style with a focus on results.
