We’re partnering with a leading paper manufacturer in Baldwinsville, New York, seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager (Print) to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for someone with strong print expertise in folding carton applications and broad knowledge across multiple press platforms.
Role Overview:
As the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll lead the entire Press Department, covering both Flexography (Flexo) and Lithography (Litho) operations. You’ll drive safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance while ensuring production targets and customer expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all press operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Oversee daily plant activities to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Champion a LEAN manufacturing culture and continuous improvement mindset.
- Maintain high standards in safety, customer service, print quality, and on‑time delivery.
- Monitor waste, control production costs, and support environmental initiatives.
- Review production data and implement improvements to enhance workflow and profitability.
- Build strong communication channels across teams and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Coach, develop, and manage performance for all Press Department team members.
About You:
- Strong technical expertise in print for folding carton applications, with broad platform knowledge (not limited to one press type).
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or 7–10 years’ experience in Lithography and/or Flexography; or equivalent experience.
- Folding carton industry experience is essential.
- Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results.
- Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong multitasking ability with high attention to detail.
- Effective problem‑solver with the ability to implement corrective actions.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a drive for operational excellence.
