We’re supporting our client, a leading machine manufacturer based in Raleigh, North Carolina who are looking for a CNC Programmer (Swiss) to join their growing team. The successful CNC Programmer (Swiss) will have experience in Swiss type CNC machinery.
Job Summary:
As a CNC Programmer (Swiss), you’ll be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment. Your tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints, inputting design specifications, adjusting machine cutting paths, and conducting quality checks on final products.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
- Input product designs into computer modeling software
- Load raw materials and select the proper cutting tools
- Adjust machine settings to match product specifications
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process
- Perform quality control checks throughout production
- Clean, maintain, and service CNC machines
- Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures
About You:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in computer modeling/CAM software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or off shifts as needed
- Preferred: Swiss-Type and/or Twin Spindle, Y-axis experience
- Preferred: Swiss CNC Programming expertise
