We’re supporting our client, a leading global metals manufacturer based in Follansbee, West Virginia who are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Electrical Engineer will have experience electrical maintenance, automation or PLCs.
Salary: $30/hr – $34/hr

The Electrical Engineer will be involved with maintaining, upgrading and improving all the various electrical systems associated within the plant that includes two steel strip hot dip coating lines along with its entire associated ancillary & support equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage & implement existing established Predictive & Preventive Maintenance plans for all electrical equipment.
- Development of PM standards, check sheets for new equipment.
- Long term maintenance planning.
- Day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Contractor control, coordination and supervision.
- Existing equipment upgrades/improvements including the recommendation of design changes to improve performance/reliability.
- New equipment installations/modifications.
- PC, PLC & Process Computer software upgrades/modifications.
- Spare parts analysis and control.
- Participation and adherence to established ISO 9000requirements in regard to work procedures, instrument calibration, etc.
About You:
- BS: Electrical Engineering
- Prefer at least three years related manufacturing operation experience
- Must be knowledgeable with software office applications, auto CAD a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills
- Analytical and reasoning ability, math skills, and good judgment for critical operating decisions.
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service
