We’re supporting our client, a leading precision manufacturer based in Plymouth, Massachusetts who are looking for an Electroplating Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful Electroplating Supervisor will have experience in plating or chemical finishing, as well as supervisory experience.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop Finishing Department Leads; conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews.
  • Translate daily production schedules into clear priorities and staffing assignments.
  • Monitor plating chemistry, equipment condition, and in-process inspections to hit quality metrics.
  • Partner with Engineering on process enhancements, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records (training logs, payroll, performance notes) and report key metrics.

About You:

  • 5+ years in plating or chemical finishing; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical troubleshooting expertise with plating chemistries and equipment.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with lean/process-improvement experience.
  • Inspiring coach and communicator – able to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to zero incidents.
