We’re working with a leading electronics manufacturer in Fort Collins, Colorado, seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in electronics repair, calibration, and high voltage testing equipment, who enjoys a mix of site-based and customer-facing work.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, calibrate, and maintain high voltage test equipment both on-site and at customer locations
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and MS Teams
- Diagnose faults, support service centres, and generate pre-repair quotes
- Carry out equipment build, calibration, and final testing before delivery
- Produce accurate calibration documentation for customers
- Work closely with Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and repair components down to board level
- Support new product development and resolve technical/design issues
- Identify faults, improve workmanship, and ensure zero-defect delivery
- Implement engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Manage inventory post-job and highlight BOM discrepancies
- Follow ISO processes and quality procedures
About You:
- Associate’s degree in Electronics or 2+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong experience using electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and high voltage probes
- Proven ability to troubleshoot to component level
- Experience with RoHS soldering
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Comfortable working with Microsoft OS, software, and Android systems
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (including some international travel)
