We’re supporting our client, a leading metal manufacturer based in Thomasville, North Carolina who are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Manager will have financial management experience and ability to manage a team of maintenance technicians.
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Also manages maintenance technicians.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee repairs of any production piece of equipment in a safe but quick manner when the equipment fails to perform correctly.
- To facilitate / conduct preventative maintenance guidelines on all production related equipment.
- To manage all company vehicles, use and repairs including preventative service
- Using predetermined guidelines, install safety guards on production equipment.
- To be responsible for the relocation and new movement of equipment
- Either directly or indirectly responsible for all equipment wiring.
- Building and Grounds
- Oversight of the Recycle Program for metals, plastics, and paper board.
- Responsible for all ground water spills
- Responsible for outside vendors related to work on the building or grounds.
- Responsible for upkeep of building and grounds
- Manage all up fit / remodelling projects on the buildings and grounds.
- Responsible for all equipment associated with upkeep of building and grounds.
- Employee Management
- Manage support staff engaged in meeting department goals.
- Oversee manpower hours and the approval of overtime allowances.
- Manage all activities of support staff in adherence of safety protocols.
