We’re supporting our client, a leading food manufacturer based in Brooksville, FL who are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Supervisor will possess a strong background in maintenance and engineering within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) food manufacturing industry, with specific experience in refrigerated, frozen and fresh products.
 
Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading the maintenance operations, supporting the Maintenance Manager. This role requires strategic leadership and operational expertise across maintenance disciplines.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee plant facility, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement work order planning and scheduling processes.
  • Manage the parts storeroom and establish effective MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procedures.
  • Ensure optimal performance of electrical and automation systems.
  • Provide leadership to maintenance teams, ensuring efficient operations and development of direct reports.
  • CI – (Continuous Improvement Methodologies)

About You:

  • Experience in maintenance, including a solid background in CMMS, planning, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and predictive maintenance.
  • Experience in CPG food manufacturing, preferably in refrigerated, frozen, and fresh product environments at plant level, with experience at HQ engineering.
  • Focus on plant, facility, and operations rather than HQ capital management.
  • Proven experience leading capital projects using disciplined tools and methods.
  • Certified in maintenance project management.
  • Experience in meat or dairy environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP, CAD, and other related systems.
  • Knowledge maintenance continuous improvement and food processing technology.
