We’re partnering with a leading steel manufacturer in Lancaster, PA, seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support their growing operation. If you have strong industrial maintenance expertise and proven leadership experience, this role offers long‑term stability and career progression.
 
Role Overview:
You’ll lead the maintenance team, drive preventative maintenance programs, and ensure all plant equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Maintenance Team – scheduling, task assignment, training, and performance management.
  • Preventative Maintenance – plan and execute PMs across all plant machinery and facility systems.
  • Equipment Repair & Overhaul – cranes, press brakes, forming rolls, beam lines, saws, shears, welding equipment, and machine‑shop tools.
  • Troubleshooting – mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Routine Maintenance – lubrication, inspections, component replacement, welding, machining.
  • Record Keeping – logs, service histories, inspections, equipment readings.
  • Downtime Management – coordinate major servicing with minimal production impact.
  • Vendor & Contractor Coordination – HVAC, fire suppression, pest control, grounds services.
  • Safety Leadership – enforce LOTO, confined space, electrical safety.

 
About You:

  • 5+ years industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and metal fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Welding, machining, or fabrication experience beneficial.
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours and respond to after‑hours emergencies.
