Maintenance Technician – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading metals manufacturer based in Columbus, OH who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will have experience of working within a high-volume metal manufacturing/metal processing environment.
Salary: $30 – $35ph

Responsibilities:
- Takes direction from appropriate supervisor.
- Maintains a clean, neat, organized work area
- Troubleshoots reason for equipment being out of service
- Capable of welding metals using MIG and stick, TIG a plus.
- Compressed Air control valves and pump familiarity a plus
- Interaction with HMI and Panel views a plus PLC
- Allen Bradley controller experience a plus.
- Basic pipefitting skills
- Capable of operating mobile equipment and lifts of various types
- Scissors
- Basket lift
- Able to complete scheduled preventative maintenance (PM’s) as required
- Brings all discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor’s attention.
- Must wear appropriate PPE which includes the following items:
- High visibility vest or equivalent
- Gloves
- Steel toe safety shoes
- Safety glasses
- Other job specific PPE.
- Hours: Training will be completed on Dayshift
- Shift could be either Days or afternoons/evenings
- Can include Saturdays
