We’re partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer in York, PA, seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support their expanding production facility. Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and smooth facility operations. You’ll focus on preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and supporting fabrication projects, helping to minimise downtime and maintain high production standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance – Execute and document scheduled PM tasks to maximise equipment performance.
  • Mechanical Room Organisation – Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
  • Troubleshooting Support – Train Line Leads on basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • In Process Repairs – Perform timely repairs and document all work.
  • Production Changeovers – Review schedules, plan ahead, and complete accurate changeovers.
  • Cleaning & Sanitisation – Follow SOPs to maintain GMP compliant standards.
  • ERP Recording – Enter required maintenance and production data.
  • GMP Compliance – Ensure all work meets facility GMP and safety guidelines.
  • Quality Reporting – Escalate equipment, chemical, or product concerns promptly.
  • Team Collaboration – Work positively with colleagues across all levels.

 
About You:

  • Strong understanding of packaging equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and equipment integration.
  • Proficient with MS Office and computer‑based systems.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking ability.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands‑on technical work.
  • Welding experience with various metals.
  • 5+ years mechanical experience preferred.
  • Trade school qualification preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
