We’re supporting our client, a leading Plastics manufacturer based in Cortland, New York who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will provide routine maintenance to support all areas of Manufacturing.
Role entails knowledge and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly, with a focus on maintaining and repairing machinery, molds, and support equipment
  • you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance support across all areas of manufacturing, including blow molding machinery, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. You will also support mold maintenance, building upkeep, and general facility repairs to help achieve quality and manufacturing objectives.
  • This position requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Preventative maintenance on production machinery & equipment
  • Carry out building and grounds maintenance
  • Support parts inventory control

About You:

  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned responsibilities in a professional, timely, and efficient manner
  • High School diploma or equivalent, 5 years experience in maintenance related field, working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics required. Equivalent combinations of education and/ or experience will be considered.
