We’re supporting our client, a leading plastics manufacturer based in Mayodan, North Carolina who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will be familiar with ISO/ATF 16949 requirements.
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for equipment safety, troubleshooting issues, and equipment refurbishment. You’ll also provide your direct reports with the necessary management and resources to do their jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Set an example for plant safety.
- Attending all safety committee meetings.
- Audit the safety controls on all equipment.
- Understand company quality policy. Always Have copy within easy access.
- Familiar with ISO/IATF 16949 requirements, manuals, where to find information when needed.
- Familiar with how your job is relevant and important and contributes to the achievement of quality objectives of the company.
- Work with preventative maintenance and set-up, providing technical assistance for maintaining plant equipment.
- Coordinate technical maintenance.
- Assist with engineering duties requested by General Manager.
- Refurbish equipment that is not in service.
- Set a plan to correct underperforming equipment.
- Establish daily schedule for equipment refurbishment.
